With over four years of experience behind me and a strong multimedia background I find my skills perfectly suited for writing commentary on the world of film and other entertainment. Working on a freelance basis has meant I’ve been able to combine writing with my online experiences of designing, creating and maintaining web sites to build a network of contacts across a range of digital publications as well as print. From this base I went on to acting as content editor for film sites and managing teams of writers while also expanding my own work to cover film festivals, interviewing stars and filmmakers and working with PR companies for supporting material.

I covered the Be the One event hosted by EA in Trafalgar Square during October 2007. While getting feedback on new EA games from the public I also wrote commentaries on the celebrity competitions and performances.
The Smell of Napalm

I helped develop The Smell of Napalm movie review site and now act as content editor. As well as writing reviews I also manage the team of writers, secure press screenings across London and also edit and publish all work that appears on the site.
Film & Festivals Magazine

I contribute articles to The Film Festival Magazine; an independent print publication based in London which recently secured distribution in Borders book shops. I work to specific briefs, research and interview subjects and source images to go with each article.

Close-Up Games

I was editor for a sister channel to Close-Up Film called Close-Up Games. Sadly it never made it past the development stage but I researched and wrote weekly news stories and reviews that also appeared on Close-Up Film and Digital Deli.
Digital Deli
A new online community allowing creative talent to distribute their work whether it’s film, games or music. It aims to provide critical feedback on media submitted and I supplied weekly news stories and reviews while expanding this section of the site:
